Start at the end of the world
The King Sejong Station is located on the coast of Maxwell Bay, surrounded by King George Island and Nelson Island in the South Shetland Islands, parallel to
the Antarctic Peninsula of West Antarctica.
The King Sejong Station was inaugurated in February 1988 as year-round station
Overwinter party, consisting of around 17 crew members, is on duty for the operation and maintenance of station.
In the Austral summer season, approximately 100 international researchers visit to the station to conduct various scientific research activities.
